Olivia’s Palate Update
Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but don’t fret, I’ve been busy trying to improve my site! Here are some of the latest and greatest updates for my readers:
- My friend Kelly from Built by Kelly has designed the official Olivia’s Palate logo that has now gone live on my blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I love it and it’s the exact simple elegance I was looking for. Now seriously, go give my girl some love and like her page since she’s just getting her design business started!
- I’ve been on a French dessert and pastry kick lately, which means I have some recipes that I cannot wait to share with you all! I’ve been moving away from paleo a bit to explore my French heritage, which involves many not so paleo ingredients. I mean, let’s be real, you can’t make an authentic French macaron without sugar or a crème brûlée without cream and torching sugar on top (although I am exploring a coconut milk version). I’ve also been fixating on Thai food since I’ve always dreamed of going there and love the flavors of coconut milk, lemongrass, and lime leaves. Stay tuned for some awesome recipes.
- I’ve decided to treat myself to one nice restaurant a month with the intention of reviewing different places for my readers and offering recommendations for where to eat around Philly and Baltimore. But really, I’m just masking that as an excuse for dining out more often.
