Life on the Road
It’s been almost a month since Blaise and I left Philadelphia and have become full time travelers. It’s funny to look back on what I expected my life to be like after leaving my full time job and what it has actually become. So much time and thought went into prepping for this trip, but nothing could fully prepare us until we transitioned into this new lifestyle.
We have spent the majority of our days driving across this vast and beautiful country, learning how to live and camp outdoors and “taking a break” from the driving and camping to spend time with our friends around the United States. I think the past few weeks have just been a warm up for the real adventure that starts this week – we’ll be crossing the border into Canada and making our way to Alaska!
There is so much I want to share about our lessons learned, our highs and lows, cooking in the great outdoors and more. However, I think I still have a lot of learning to do before I post about certain topics in more detail.
I will leave you with a gallery of pictures that captured special moments in time and will start posting more often as we venture off to Alaska!
