Atlanta’s Best Kept Secret

Whenever I come home to Atlanta, my visit is never complete without a meal from Chef Rob’s.  I always go when I’m craving something different and Caribbean food is definitely a welcome exotic change from my regular diet.   This place is hidden in an unassuming shopping center, but it never disappoints.  When you walk in, the decor is far from fancy, but it’s definitely homey.  Chef Rob is almost always there to great you or will come by your table to chat and ensure your meal was well prepared.

When I saw the daily special on the chalk board, I had to order it: Mango chicken served with coconut rice and fried plantains.  If it was acceptable to lick my plate clean, I would’ve done it in a heart beat.  It was seriously that delicious. Oh and if you’re up for drinking, the mojitos there are to die for.

After I relished in one of the most amazing meals I’ve had in a while, I found Chef Rob to ask him for his mango chicken recipe.  I’ll try to recreate his recipe; if it works out, I’ll post it!
